Catechist (Critical Need)

A catechist is a teacher of religion who comes from all walks of life. You may be a professional athlete, a homemaker, a Pentagon employee, a nurse or a postal carrier. You may be single or married, young or old. You might be worried that you are not that “religious” or you are not “qualified” to teach a Religious Education class. Be assured that you are not alone! Anyone who has been a catechist has had those feelings at one time or another! Catechists have a choice of teaching on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at a time convenient to their schedule. Initial training is provided in the fall, and ongoing faith formation is provided throughout the year.

If we would please Him and be found among His children, we must learn what our duty is, pray to Him for the grace to do it, and then set our whole heart and soul to perform it.

Children’s Nursery (Critical Need)

Held during the 9:00a.m. and 10:45a.m. Masses on Sunday only. Volunteers from middle school age to retirement age are needed to hold and rock our crying babies, 6-36 months; or play and pray with our pre-schoolers, 3-5 years old.

Vacation Bible School

We are all called to holiness in every aspect of our lives. The SEAS youth program is designed to help parents form their sons and daughters to be young adults of virtue and faith. Through engaging and exciting activities, events, prayer, and talks, the program will help form the student’s character spiritually, socially, intellectually, and culturally.
